Rathgillan House is a stone barn dating from the 1850s that has been renovated to the highest standards to a four bedroom house. This self catering cottage has maintained all the charm of the barn with a high wooden ceiling in the main room with double doors looking out onto the court yard. There is a wood burning stove in the big brick hearth which in the central feature of this big room. There are three sources of heating in the house - solar panels, oil central heating and the wood burning stove. The water is sourced from a well beside the house. Rathgillan House is surrounded by fields, hills and trees with walkways throughout the farm. This is an ideal setting for a peaceful, tranquil break. The house caters for 8 people comfortably. Three of the bedrooms have ensuites attached. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor. The kitchen is fully equipped.
